    A

We will meet with you a week or two prior to your wedding to discuss how you want these items set up. On your wedding day, immediately following the ceremony, most brides have their pastor ask the men to grab a few chairs each to move to reception area, where the tables are in place. After your event we will pick up all tables and chairs.

Because of our religious beliefs we do not host same sex weddings and receptions, however we will happy to host any other type of event for you.
    What is the clean-up procedure?
*Gather all the items you brought with you.
*If you throw rose petals, please have someone designated to pick them up immediately after ceremony.
(they tend to get forgotten about during late night clean ups)
*Leave kitchen as you found it.  Take all your items and wipe down counters.
(we will sweep and mop for you)
*Bag all trash and leave at side gate.
*Keep trash cans lined with garbage bags
(we have bags, and our employees help stay on top of this)
*Please do not leave large items or big cardboard boxes behind.
*If you moved any items in the yard, please put them back in their original location.
*When using our chalkboards, no chalk “markers”.  They do not wipe off.

We are an outdoor venue. Booking an outdoor venue poses all sorts of interesting possibilities.  You may encounter inclement weather, dogs barking, mosquitos, even an occasional lawn mower in the distance.  Some things we can help, some things we cannot.  But one thing I know for sure, we will do all that we can to make your day as perfect as possible for you!
It is our pleasure to serve you.

To date, we have hosted over 150 weddings!! We look forward to sharing The Venue at Dawes with you as well!
